Northwest Relocation – Improve Quality of Life for Employees in North Idaho
Health Care
Kootenai Health’s core commitment is to provide quality health care to all people despite their ability to pay. By upholding our Service Excellence Standards, including privacy, etiquette, professional attitude and courtesy, sensitivity to customer wait time and communication, Kootenai Health’s goal is to treat you as a member of our family. Kootenai Health is committed to meeting the health care needs of our community both in and outside our facilities. Free and low-cost health screenings, free child car seat safety inspections, and strong volunteer support of local events are just the beginning of that commitment. |
As a community-owned district hospital, Kootenai Medical Center is entitled to collect taxes from the local community. Thanks to wise management and careful financial planning, Kootenai has not collected taxes since 1995. Additionally, investments back into our local community average two and a half times the amount that would have been assessed in tax dollars.
At Kootenai Health, excellence is at the heart of all we do. Kootenai has been recognized both regionally and nationally for providing outstanding care in a variety of arenas.
Kootenai offers state-of-the-art care in all service lines. Our Heart Center is rapidly growing and expanding to include electrophysiology this year. We recently acquired Heart Clinics Northwest in Spokane, and now offer heart treatment throughout the Inland Northwest.
Our Cancer Centers are located in Coeur d’Alene, Post Falls and Sandpoint. Accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer, our centers work on all stages of cancers - from prevention to remission.
